AP English Poems

In AP English class, 11^th Grade students wrote poems. Today we share the poem written by Emily González.

Congratulations!

A book of notes,
full of feelings
tells some stories
but lets people see them.

Things I might want to express
but not people to have read,
things I might want to let out
but also keep in my head

It’s really ironic
that I tend to be laconic
because I hate to express myself
but I put it all, on the top of my shelf.
