The sixth grade students have been reading stories that describe what it is like to be a writer and the process they go through to get a book published. In groups, students worked on their version of a traditional bedtime story giving it a fresh twist or different ending.
Their creativity soared! Students enjoyed the process of putting their bedtime stories together as well as reading their stories to their classmates in a magical night-time environment and dressed in pijamas. A wonderful learning experience for all!
